CUSTOM DESIGN SERVICE:
If our thousands of customizable items arent unique enough, Maggie's Jewelry Box offers the option of creating one-of-a-kind pieces from scratch. It is very easy to take advantage of MJB’s FREE Custom Design Service!

MADE-TO-ORDER: 
All of our pieces are made-to-order. This means that you can design your own unique pieces by selecting specific color and size options when placing your order.


AVERAGE TURN AROUND TIME: 
All Maggie's Jewelry Box pieces are handcrafted with the utmost attention to detail by designer, Maggie Elizabeth in her small design studio. For her to successfully and efficiently keep up with the workload of all of your beautiful custom pieces – Maggie uses a P.S.A. (or Priority Scheduling Algorithm). Simply put, she completes orders that are the most applicable first.

Though most orders have a turn around time range of 1-6 weeks, there are a variety of factors that are considered when our system prioritizes. The size of your order, your selected design’s intricacy, your selected materials (ie: non-stock or special order colors), placing your order during the holidays or busy seasons, or placing your order at the same time as another customer’s order that has a more urgent due date (ie: upcoming wedding) etc. are all important factors to determining your orders priority and turn around time.

For example, if someone places an order for their wedding (next year), and the following day you place an order for your wedding (that is 2 months away) - even though they placed their order first – yours would have a higher priority for completion. This ensures that everyone’s orders are completed on time.

Because of this, we ask that you place your orders as soon as you possibly can. We suggest AT LEAST 1-3 months in advance of your special event date. Another option to ensure our order is completed in time for your event, hair trials, dress fittings etc, is to leave us a comment giving us your requested due date or purchase a Rush Order.

When your order is complete, it is shipped out on our next shipping day and subject to your selected shipping transit time.
 

RUSH ORDER:
Worried there isn’t enough time to order your custom made jewelry? With MJB’s Rush Order option - THERE STILL IS!
We suggest that orders be placed AT LEAST 1-3 months in advance of your special event date, But when this isn’t possible that’s when a Rush Order comes in.  Choosing the Rush Order option will assure a speedier design time of approx 1-4 weeks depending on your “Time Frame” selection at checkout. Rush Orders are for “emergency” orders (less than 5 weeks advance) that need to be completed and shipped in an expedited fashion.
To take advantage of this, simply add the Rush Order item to your shopping cart along with the item(s) you would like to apply it to.

*Please note, For every 10 items there should be 1 Rush order. (For example 10 items = 1 Rush Order, 12 items = 2 Rush Orders,  20 items = 2 Rush Orders,  30 items = 3 Rush Orders…etc) Work will not start on ANY of the items until the proper amount of additional Rush Order coverage is purchased and payment has cleared. Please contact us prior to order placement if you have any questions at all.

Please note that orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays will not ship until the following business day. 

If possible, for the best Rush Order experience, contact the designer with your unique details prior to order placement. Be as specific as possible: include e-mail address, phone number with best time to call, your event/deadline date, shipping address, item name(s), item number(s), desired color options and preferred method of shipping. Special Order Color options may not be available for Rush Orders due to the short notice. If you prefer Special Order Color(s) please contact us to check for availability prior to order placement. You will receive a response with availability or alternate options if your preferred color(s) is not available for Rush Order.  All Rush Orders placed without contacting us prior to order placement containing Special Order Color options will be subject to the designer’s use artistic integrity to complete the Rush Order in a timely fashion as scheduled. Orders are processed immediately (within 2 hours) of payment, contacting us or requesting a change after your completed purchase is not permitted. Maggie’s Jewelry Box can not guarantee a Rush order’s time frame calculation is correct on the customers part, therefore we are not responsible for the order(s) incorrect completion and arrival on time for a specific event date. The calculation of the turn around time and shipping time needed will be left soley up to the customer. Take care when selecting your Time Frame and expedited shipping selection prior to checkout. Alterations to a time frame after order has been placed not prohibited.

Maggie's Jewelry Box cannot assume responsibility for packages that are not delivered on time by FedEx or the US Postal Service. Estimated shipping, handling, & delivery times are not guaranteed. If you need further assistance please contact us. Please allow 48hrs for a response.

{ PAYMENT INFO }:

MJB accepts major credit cards, payment through Paypal, as well as check or money order. Please make all check payable to MAGGIE FERLITO. All other names will be rejected as per bank policy. Gift certificates are also available and accepted upon authentication. Be advised that work will NOT start on your order until full payment has cleared.

LOCAL CUSTOMERS: In rare cases, At the discretion of MJB, orders for local delivery may have the option of picking up their completed order. Work will NOT start on your order until full payment has cleared.
Contact us prior for approval and to arrange your pickup. Only after that will selecting the Local Pickup at checkout be a valid shipping option. We reserve the right to refuse this option to anyone for any undisclosed reason. Any customers that choose this option without following the proper steps will either be charged a standard shipping fee or will result in a canceled order.

NON-PAYMENT PENALTIES: Customers presenting NSF checks will be subject to a $25 fee each time the bank attempts to process the check for payment.  Maggie's Jewelry Box will also charge a $20.00 fee for EACH BUSINESS WEEK the payment remains unpaid. If necessary, any such issue will be settled in a court of law after the customary 30-day collection period.

 

 

{ SHIPPING  INFO }:

Maggie's Jewelry Box ships every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday unless otherwise previously arranged.

Please note that made-to-order and custom design processes may take up to 2-4 weeks before shipping.
Your items will be made in the order in which they were received. See the “ORDER INFO” section above for more details.
Your order will arrive at your doorstep in a plain, secure, well-padded package. There will be no mention of Maggie’s Jewelry box or Jewelry on the packages to aid in the prevention of postal theft.  Maggie’s Jewelry Box is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages. It is recommended that the customer purchase Insurance to cover any possible loss in transit.

PRIORITY MAIL: Approx. 2-3 days transit time. This option is acceptable for a majority of orders.

EXPRESS MAIL: Overnight to most locations. This option is necessary for RUSH orders needed as soon as possible for a quickly approaching special event.

LOCAL PICKUP: At our discretion, we may allow some local clients to pick up their orders free of charge. Please contact us to schedule your pick up PRIOR to selecting your shipping option at checkout. Maggie's Jewelry Box reserves the right to disallow this option for a variety of undisclosed reasons.
INTERNATIONAL MAIL: At this time, Maggie's Jewelry Box does not offer this option. If you are an international customer, please contact us here.

{ RETURNS & EXCHANGES }:

Due to the customizable nature of our items, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. 
Each item is created and thoroughly checked with the utmost attention to detail before packaging to ensure that it meets our high quality control standards. Items are often photographed prior to packaging for both security and customer service purposes. Should there be any questions or concerns regarding your purchase, kindly contact us immediately at info@maggiesjewelrybox.com and we will do our best to address your issue. If there is genuine suspicion of defect in the materials used or workmanship, we will issue a full refund at our discretion once we have received and inspected the item(s). Maggie’s Jewelry Box retains the right to disallow refunds if we feel statements are fraudulent or items were tampered with after leaving our facility. Orders can not be canceled or refunded after placement. Any attempts to make changes to orders after order has been placed is prohibited.  Maggie’s Jewelry Box is not responsible for packages lost, stolen or damaged in transit. Customers are urged to purchase additional insurance and tracking prior to checkout.

REPLACEMENT ITEMS: Don’t worry! If you have lost or damaged any products purchased from us (i.e.: lost one earring of your favorite pair of MJB earrings, etc.), please contact us HERE, we would be more than happy to replace it, if possible.

All orders with or without coupons are subject to the appropriate tax and shipping fees. All sales, discounts and promotions are validated at subtotal only ie: prior to tax,  shipping fees, Rush order fees etc. The purchase of a Rush Order can not be used to bring total up for Promotion that requires a minimum purchase amount. Subtotal must reach the required amount prior to any additional Rush charges.
Maggie’s Jewelry Box has the right to refuse any coupon, discount or under suspicion of fraudulence or for any other reason that can remain undisclosed.

BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT:

As soon as you have scheduled your appointment at the time that is most convenient for you, our system will send you confirmation emails as well as reminders of your appointment.

 

RESCHEDULING OR CANCELATIONS:

If you are unable to attend your appointment you are allowed to reschedule 2 times. Each time must give our designers a 48 hour advance notice.  If you need to reschedule more than 2 times you will be locked out and will need to schedule a new appointment time HERE

 

If you are unable to reschedule your appointment with a 48 hour notice please contact us via email info@maggiesjewelrybox.com to alert your designer that you will not be able to attend. Unfortionatley, when you miss your appointment or try to reschedule within that 48hr timeframe or after a missed appointment -  the $25 scheduling deposit will be surrendered. You will need to schedule again using the appointment scheduler HERE and another $25 will be required. 

 

***We have a very strict no call no show policy.  The deposit is in place to compensate our designers should their scheduled client not show up and another client missed out on that time slot. If you did not make your appointment, it is an automatic forfeit of the $25 scheduling deposit. To be fair to all of our customers and to ensure our designers' very limited time is not wasted, our designers are NOT able to make exceptions to this policy under ANY circumstances. You may cancel your appointment at any time. All cancelations are an automatic forfeit the $25 deposit.

 

ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL APPOINTMENT:

In a successful consult appointment, the client is ready with all of her information, dress pictures, links, inspiration, colors etc. She has given her correct information upon scheduling her appointment so that the designer knows when her event date is, budget, and what she is looking to achieve from her appointment. The customer understands that her one-on-one time with the designer is limited and is ready to get down to business. 

Our Designer, Maggie Elizabeth and our customer service team will email the client reminders prior to their appointment.

Prior to the consult appointment, the designer has reviewed the answers to your questionnaire that you were given upon scheduling. She has pulled some ideas, color combinations tailord you your specific requests.  She will ask many questions to get a feel for what the client desires, and will do everything in her power to make sure both herself and the client are on the same page and have great success with the design process. She will send links to suggested items from the website, she will draw sketches, take quick pictures of materials that may work for the client...and so much more. 

 

All forms of contacts provided by the client must be accurate or MJB will be unable to contact you and will not be responsible for missed appointments etc. 

 

Client must make the first contact at her reserved appointment time. If you select phone/text option please call or text, if you select phone/Facebook chat please send the first message on facebook messenger...and so on. This allows our designer to chat with you when it is most convenient for you.

 Each appointment is 30 minutes long. Due to our high demand we are unable to extend this timeframe. Please be ready with all of your information and pictures etc prior to your meeting. If for some reason you need more time at the end of your 30minutes, please alert our designer an she will set up a followup appointment for you. 

 

During a successful consult appointment, the client will be given instructions by the designer as to what your next step will be. The client may be asked to officially place her order by using a link that is emailed to her shortly after her appointment. She may be asked to place her order using the website. The designer may even need to get back to the client with more information or sketches etc at a late date to confirm your design.

Q: How much does your jewelry and accessories cost?
A: You will find that Maggie’s Jewelry Box has VERY affordable prices and great values for the amazing quality and service you will receive. Q: Are there any special care instructions for the jewelry?
A: Yes. Like all jewelry, I suggest keeping Maggie’s Jewelry Box pieces in sealed container, bag or tarnish resistant lined jewelry box. Polish with a polishing cloth as needed. Try to avoid excess moisture (do not wear in hot tubs, pools, shower etc). More in depth care really depends on the grade of metals and materials your pieces are made from. CONTACT US

Q: I want to buy my bridesmaids earring, bracelet, and necklace sets but i dont want to ask them for their sizes, any suggestions?
A:
No worries, we have the perfect solution for you! Maggie's Jewelry Box offers complimentary extender chains for all necklace and bracelet purchases. That way your bridesmaids will be able to have a perfect custom fit and your gift giving will remain discreet. Simply select "Free Extender Chain" from the customizing drop down menues found on each product page. 

Q: I am interested in a one-of-a-kind piece that has sold, can you recreate it?
A:  Some pieces I can recreate but a majority of one-of-a-kind pieces are just that. If I am not able to recreate it exactly, I will be able to give you a very similar look – maybe even something better and more tailored to your specific taste! Q: How do I pay for my order?
A: Maggiesjewelrybox.com offers many secure ways of payment. Paypal/Major Credit Card is the quickest and most common form of payment. I also accept Money Orders. Cash for local pick up only. See the "PAYMENT INFO" section above for more details.

Q: Can you fix my broken jewelry even though I purchased it elsewhere?
A: Sure! Depending on the type of jewelry I can fix or redesign any piece within legal limits. I will not copy or alter any designs belonging to another Jewelry Designer. 


Q: Can you help me pick out a gift for my wife?
A: Absolutely! With a few simple questions we are very good at helping you find the perfect gift for your special someone!

Q: Can I mail you materials I have, like my grandmothers brooch, to make something new out of?
A: Absolutely! Our custom design service is perfect for that! Simply package your pieces to be upcycled securely in tissue or bubble wrap and mail in a secure and insured box. Your local post office can assist you if needed. Maggie's Jewelry Box is not liable for damanged lost or stolen packages. 

Q: I want to purchase jewelry and have it shipped directly to my sister for her birthday, is it possible to buy some sort of gift wrap? 
A: Of course! All Maggie's Jewelry Box items will arrive in a air tight clear storage bags inside a paper gift bag. Each item will come with a jewelry care instruction card and a MJB business card. If you would live dress it up even more, we offer several sizes of our signature Logo stamped cotton lined white boxes sealed with a gorgeous grey satin ribbon bow. Shop Gift packaging HERE. 

Q: The earrings I want are “out of stock” can I still order them somehow?
A: Many of our items are set to specific quantities simply for our record keeping, and will be back in stock shortly after they go “out o stock”. However, some items may be limited editions due to rare materials and in that case would unfortunately no longer be available. It is best to CONTACT US with the Item Name and Item Number to get a more precise answer.

Q: My wedding is in 6 weeks. Can you complete my order in time?
A: Yes. Though, because all of our Wedding Collection pieces are made-to-order we typically ask that orders are placed at least 2-3 months in advance. But we understand how hectic wedding planning can be and how some things may unfortunately get overlooked. No one is perfect! Any order with a 5 week or less time frame is called a RUSH Order.  We will gladly take a Rush order within reason. However, due to the time crunch, you may have to select slightly different designs/materials/colors to ensure they are completed within the time constraints. Q: What is the quickest I can receive my order?
A: Approximately 7-9 days.  We suggest that made-to order purchases be placed 2-3 months prior to any event date. However most made-to-order items take only 3-5 weeks design time and then are subject to your selected shipping time.  With the purchase of a RUSH ORDER & expedited overnight shipping you can speed up the process to as little as 1 week receive it overnight!

Q: My ears are sensative to some types of earrings, will I be able to wear MJB earrings?
A:
I have very sensitive ears as well so I know how hard it can be to shop for jewelry. Maggie's Jewelry Box carries both fashion grade plated and Sterling Silver earwires. Personally, I am able to wear our plated metals without any issues at all... but to be safe I always suggest that our customers with sensitivites select Sterling Silver. You will be able to select your desired metal tone in the customizing drop down menues found on each product page. 

Q: I would like to design a one of a kind necklace for my wedding using your Free Custom Design Service, how long will the process take? 
A: The design process for most custom design items typically takes 3-5 weeks.  Custom designs tend to call for a longer design time than our made to order pieces simply because they often require more customer communication and special order materials that may not be kept in stock. You will be working one on one with a designer so you will get a more a accurate time quote. Keep in mind If you need your item sooner you can always purchase a RUSH ORDER & expedited shipping to speed up the process to as little as 1 week and be able to receive it overnight! Learn more about the Free Custom Design Service click HERE.

Q: How do I shop Maggie’s Jewelry Box? Do you have a store I can visit?
A:
Shopping is made easy with MJB! We are an online business so you can shop conveniently from the comforts of your own home. All items have detailed descriptions and a variety of photos to help make your shopping experience the best it can be. Although it is not customary, in some instances we are happy to take phone orders. For example if a customer is placing a custom order, or if she is unfamiliar with using the computer it is easiest to work out the details that way. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have - we would be happy to assist you!

Q: I recently sent a message to Maggie’s Jewelry Box on facebook and haven’t received and answer yet?
Am I doing something wrong?

A: Unlike in the past, communication with our social media pages, blogs and lookbooks may not be as responsive because they are used now purely for news and updates. With our new website www.maggiesjewelrybox.com up and running, we are able to better communicate with our customers all in one place. Q: I am unable to make my phone/online consult appointment, can I reschedule?

A: Absolutely. You are able to reschedule your appointment up to 24hours prior. If you are unable to reschedule your consult appointment within that timeframe you will be forfiting the $25 scheduling deposit and  are welcome to reschedule when it is convenient for you. We strive to give all of our custom jewelry clients equal attention during our busy work schedules - so our policies are non-negotiable.
